Ancient Robobotic beings, this is a particularily old specimen. Carbon tests have revealed it to be over 6,000 years old - which is very odd, considering how most Robobotic historians have stated that the world had not existed at that time. Many of these strange little beings have been found; they have all been rusted and dead. Apparently, springs were widely used as a kind of kinetic energy source back then. This robot would wind its arms up and then release them with devastating force.

Attempts to re-wind the engine springs of these robots have failed time after time, except for a odd, almost inaudible ticking noise.
Also, attempts to Reanimactivate them have failed miserably, usually resulting in said robot being destroyed beyond repair.
However, suprisingly enough, these creatures seemed to be outfitted with a sort of makeshift memory device; some of the best Robobotic scientists have figured out ways to replay some of the saved data on them.

Everything on these memory devices was almost impossible to decrypt except for a small sequence of letters and numbers:

.-.23 A.-.

To this day, no one has ever discovered the meaning of this.

Machinatiatons were also quite small; all specimens found have been under 4 feet. One gets the impression that they were quick and lively; unlike some of the other Ancients found.

Yeah, I draw lines very strangely. They look very angular, and I have lots of trouble with curves. I know the hands are horrible, too. Thanks for noticing that. And I wholeheartedly agree about them being important - they are the main source of expression for my robots. Thanks for the comment. :D

there's once again a lot og good contrast and detail. I like the softer marks outside of the form...they do help out the effect of the pic. I would suggest working on your lines...they look as if they were scratched in. It would make the pic more appealing if they were one solid, smooth line. The hands look very crippled. You should define them more. They are very important to your robot pieces. With as much detail as you put into them, the hands should really be developed more. There's so much potential for expression in them.

Your imagination gives me a lot to think about and SMILE about. I love your inventive words, like " reanimactivate". Not to mention-this drawing is TERRIFIC!

Surprising and original, it is sometimes difficult to find something new in the science fiction section :) +fav
